We also offer a MANUAL LOFT LADDER - DOUBLE JOINT
The double joint ladder has an extra hinge on the middle section allowing it too unfold within its own frame, which is of great help in so many situations e.g. on small landings the ladder will open into (or under) a doorway, even if the opening is tight up against that doorway.
Where before you needed to make a new opening , the Skylark double joint may avoid that from happening.
Likewise it will open under light fittings, alcoves etc.
Where before you needed to install a spacesaver or mini stairs or create a new opening to get around these problems, the double joint may be the answer.
The customer gets to keep the opening in its current location and in a trapdoor that is of standard size for all ceiling heights.
The Skylark Manual Double Joint loses none of its strength due to our super strong hinges. The ladder is just the same as our standard ladders.
Over the years this product has been of tremendous help to us and it will be for you too.
Making a new opening is not what the customer wants and not what the installer wants. The double joint will save you having to do this seven times out of ten and is available for all ceiling heights up to 3.5m high and in all frame sizes.
