The DSC V has the further advantage of stowing away within the hatch and lining frame supplied, and with its counterbalanced mechanism the DSC V offers a simple, strong and effective solution.

• The DSC V loft ladder stores in an upright position behind the trapdoor.
• Uses an Integral Spring Hardware system for ease of operation.
• The Concertina loft ladder is manufactured in die-cast aluminium.
• Ladder tread widths: 200mm, 250mm, 300mm or 350mm (dependent on 
  opening width dimension).
• Ladder tread depth: 140mm.
• Larger tread widths available up to 380mm (dependent on opening width dimension).
• The draught proofed timber hatchbox supplied is constructed from 19mm plywood (unfinished) and measures 240mm deep.
• The trapdoor supplied is made from a 52mm sandwich constructed (unfinished) and comes Insulated and airtight.
• The trapdoor has a controlled closing mechanism with the use of gas springs making sure the door does not slam shut.
• Unit complete with Operating Pole & Full Installation Instructions.
• Optional Telescopic Handrails are available for the unit.
• Optional Non-Insulated trapdoors available.
• Tested to EN 14975 (European Ladder Standard) with a 200kg per tread resilience.

• N.B: Vertical heights above 3100mm can only have a tread width of 300mm (maximum).
